What is Benchmark?

Benchmark is a groundbreaking initiative by Boston NCSY that connects high school teens (grades 9-12) with college-aged mentors for personalized Jewish learning. Choose from a curated list of inspiring books and sefarim and learn on your schedule—at your own pace.

How It Works:

Pick a Topic – Choose from a variety of Jewish wisdom topics below.
Get a Mentor – You’ll be paired with a college-aged mentor who will learn with you one-on-one.
Learn on Your Schedule – Find a time that works for you each week.
Earn Rewards – Get $5 per session, plus milestone bonuses and an end-of-year reward. You can earn up to $250 by participating!

How Do Rewards Work?

For every learning session completed, you earn $5.
At key milestones (10 and 20 sessions), you’ll receive additional bonuses.
If you complete a full sefer, you’ll earn an extra reward!
All rewards are redeemed at the end of the program in June in the form of Visa gift cards.
This means that by staying committed throughout the year, you can earn up to $250 in gift cards!
