What this is
Not a class. A debate.
Every night starts with a story that is actually in the news right now- the kind where you can see both sides and you honestly aren't sure where you land.
We put it on the table, we take it apart, we look at what the Torah has to say about it, and then the room argues. Nobody is giving a shiur here. You don't have to agree with anyone, including us. Some of these nights are going to get heated and that's exactly what we're going for.
Come to ALL eleven or come to the ones that grab you. Check them off on the form and change your mind later.

7:15 to 8:30. That’s it.

One case from the news. You get the facts and both sides before anyone tells you what to think.
The sources
What Jewish thinking has to say about it. Adults from the community learn it through with you in small groups.
The argument
Everyone back together and the room goes at it. You leave at 8:30 still thinking about it.
Questions
Before you sign up
Do I have to come every week?
No. Pick the nights that grab you, check them off on the form, and change your mind whenever. Showing up for one night is completely fine.
Do I need to know anything going in?
Nothing. No background, no Hebrew, no prep. If you have an opinion you're qualified.
What’s the $15?
You earn $15 for every session you show up to. Come to all eleven and that's $165.
Who’s in the room?
Teens in grades 9 through 12 from across Boston- day school, public school, all of it. That mix is half of what makes the argument good.
Food allergies?
There's a line for it on the form. Tell us and we'll handle it.
